If you have specific questions or require more in-depth information, please feel free to contact us for a consultation. We can provide information and resources to help you make informed decisions when using copyrighted materials. Examples of instances where we can help include:

  • If a proposed use of copyrighted material falls within fair use guidelines
  • How much material can be taken from a source without permission and still be considered fair use
  • If and when material can be shared digitally via course management systems like Desire2Learn
  • Avoiding plagiarism and properly citing materials

Workshops and individual consultations are available for faculty, staff, and students.
