One way to manage citations easily is by using a product called RefWorks. RefWorks will import database search results and turn them into correctly formatted citations in whatever style you choose. One great feature of CINAHL is that you can export citation information directly into RefWorks in a few easy steps.
By the end of this video you should be able to:
To export search results from CINAHL to RefWorks or another citation manager, click on the blue folder icon located at the far right of the article title; the folder will turn yellow when selected.
Alternatively, you can export a citation from the detailed catalog record by clicking on the Export option located at the right hand side of the screen
If you added multiple articles to your temporary folder, you can click on the folder icon located in the blue menu bar at the top of the page to review your selections and export them all at the same time
After reviewing your selections, you can export them by clicking on the Export option located to the right of the screen
Select your citation manager from the list and click Save to continue (please note: the library supports RefWorks)
You will be prompted Continue Exporting to RefWorks; this step requires that you have a RefWorks account
Once you have logged in to your RefWorks account, you can continue importing your citations. Click Import to complete the process
