The purpose of this guide is to outline different features of the database CINAHL Plus with Full Text.

What is CINAHL?

CINAHL stands for Cumulative Index of Nursing and Allied Health Literature. It is a great place to find information on nursing, physical therapy, and other allied health professions that are not commonly found in PubMed.

Accessing CINAHL

Access CINAHL by going to the Boxer Library website and clicking on CINAHL Complete under the Popular Resources located on the right-hand side of the page:

A new page will load. Type your search topic (in this example, the term "accidental falls") into the text field and click Search to find results. 

You will have the option to narrow your search results using the facets on the left hand side of the page, or by adding additional terms to your original search topic.
