Searching Best Practices for Evidence Synthesis Reviews

The Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta Analysis (PRISMA) was designed to help researchers know what items they should include in an evidence synthesis review. PRISMA is a 27 item list that helps you transparently report your review.

PRISMA has a number of extensions that help with other review types, as well as more specific stages of your review. PRISMA-ScR is for reporting scoping reviews. PRISMA-S helps you report your search process in particular.
