You can cite articles found in PubMed in a number of ways.
Copy Citation to Clipboard
You can save up to 500 article citations from one or more searches using the Clipboard feature in PubMed. Citations copied to the Clipboard will disappear after 8 hours of inactivity.
Save Citations in Collections
If you create a free My NCBI account, you can save search results using the Collections feature. There is no limit to the number of collections you may store in this account, and collections may be shared with other users.
Save Citations as a Text File
Use the Save option and choose a Selection and Format from the menu that appears to save up to 10,000 citations as a .txt file.
Export Citations to a Citation Manager
Select your citations and choose to Send to a Citation Manager. You will be prompted to download a .nbib file, which you must then upload to your citation manger. Rosalind Franklin University uses Zotero.
