Scholarly Communications Librarian
Jaena received her Master in Library and Information Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2017 and joined the Boxer Library in August of 2022. She is responsible for spreading the word about scholarly communication topics and assisting with evidence synthesis projects and procedures. She also serves as the liaison to the College of Nursing. Before coming to the Boxer Library, Jaena was an instruction and outreach librarian for five years, so she is also happy to discuss information literacy and instruction best practices.
In her free time, you can usually find her working on a knitting, cross-stitching or sewing project.
