The purpose of this guide is to introduce the various features of the online clinical resource tool AccessMedicine.

How to Create a Personal Account

One wonderful thing about AccessMedicine is that you can personalize your experience by creating a personal account.

Some of the benefits of creating a personal account include:

  • Saving readings for later review
  • Saving images and videos
  • Exporting images for use in presentations
  • Testing your knowledge through self-assessments
  • Access to the AccessMedicine App

1. Click on the Access database you are looking to do your research with. These can be found under "Popular Resources" on the Boxer Library Homepage
 
 
2. Once on the AccessMedicine database, click "Sign In," in the upper right-hand corner.
*Please note that you can still browse ACCESS resources through the Boxer Library without signing in or creating an account

3. Once prompted to sign in, click on "Create a Free MyAccess Profile" if you have not already created an account.

 4. Create a username and password. Then, click "Create Profile."

6. Once you have created your account, click "Go to My Dashboard."

7. On your MyAccess Dashboard, you will be able to access your favorites, folders, cases, custom curriculum, and MY CME
