Two of our most popular webpages have gotten a refresh! We have streamlined our Library Tutorials and Guides and Electronic Resources pages. Not only can you now search for a guide or resource, but you can also filter each list either by focus (guides) or subject (resources). This should make it easier for you to find the right guide or resource. This refresh comes with new URLs. For those who had them bookmarked, Library Tutorials and Guides can now be found at: https://guides.rosalindfranklin.edu/ and the new link for Electronic Resources is: https://guides.rosalindfranklin.edu/az/databases. The links have already been updated on our library website.
You may have noticed recently that databases hosted on the EBSCO platform, such as Library Search, CINAHL Complete, and APA PsycINFO recently got a redesign this past summer. To learn more about the changes, check our our past newsletter.

The Learning Commons is the Boxer Library’s collaborative area, in which normal conversation and group study can be conducted. There is an open space, small offices and two reservable study spaces for groups of three or more. You can also find the Circulation Desk here for your textbooks on reserve, chargers, whiteboard markers and anatomy models.
The Quiet Study Area is for individual study. Located at the back of the library on the lower level, these areas are filled with carrels, cubicles and study rooms. Any conversation must be conducted in whispers, and please be aware of the volume of the whispers. Any items left behind to “Hold” a study space may be confiscated by library staff.
