How to Request eReserves for Your Course

Preparing your syllabus for the fall? Contact the library to set up electronic course reserves! eReserves work in concert with library resources such as electronic journals, ebooks, and other digital content, such as a recorded video, podcast, or a website page. Articles obtained through the library’s new Copyright Clearance Center license can also be embedded.

Once the module is embedded in your course space, there is no additional work for you and your students can access assigned readings with ease.

Email eresources@rosalindfranklin.edu with questions, or fill out this form to get started.

Dig Deeper with Interlibrary Loan and Print2PDF

Need the full text to something the library does not have electronic access to? Use Interlibrary Loan or Print2PDF.

Interlibrary Loan (ILL): This service is used when the library does not have access to either print or electronic format. Upon request our library team will ask another library to scan a copy and then it is forwarded to you.

How to Use: On an article that says “Request this through Interlibrary Loan”, click the link, check the ILL request form, and click “Submit Request”. You will receive an email when it is available. There is also a blank form if you want to enter the information manually.

Print2PDF: This service is used when the library has print access but not electronic. This means that the article is available in the on-campus collection. The article will be scanned and delivered to you via email.

How to use: If it says “Find [Journal Title] from RFUMS Print Collection”, click on the Find it @ RFUMS to place a request. The request form is the same one as the Interlibrary loan one.

Bonus! Requesting articles through PubMed: Visit PubMed using the Boxer Library’s link from the homepage. All articles will have the “Find it @ RFUMS” icon to take you to the article or a link to the ILL request form.
