Remote Campus Library Services for Faculty

Need Assistance During the Remote Campus Period? Email or Chat Preferred

The best way to contact the librarians and library staff during the remote campus period is through email or chat if normal business hours. One of the librarians will be monitoring the email seven days a week. If you ask a question within normal business hours of 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, you should receive a response by the end of the business day. If it is after hours, you should expect a response by the following morning. If you would like to set an appointment for search help via phone call, email first and then we will set up the time. 

Also the library is piloting an online chat service during regular business hours which will be 8:00AM -4:00PM Monday- Friday. Click on the button below for service.

If absolutely necessary, you can call the number (847)578-8808 between the hours of 8:00 AM  to 4:00 PM Monday- Friday 

Purpose of This Guide

The purpose of this guide is to outline the various Boxer Library services available to faculty and staff in the event Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science would have during the remote campus period 2020. 

These services include:

  • Virtual Reference Help 
  • Library Instructional Services
  • Interlibrary Loan 
  • Access to Reserves Collection

Remember, the librarians will continue to monitor the eresoruces@rosalindfranklin.edu email account seven days a week to answer any questions you may have.
