Announcements

Returning to Library Spaces - A Peaceful Place for Everyone

With more of us returning to shared spaces, this is a great time to brush up on the library's noise policies. Each space has its own recommended levell

  • Learning Commons: contained collaboration, moderate voices

  • Quiet Study Area: short, whispered conversation, cell phones on silent

  •  Silent Study: total silence, relocate for conversation

Remember that walls and doors are not soundproof, so please apply the same suggestions to study rooms and cubbies. If you're unsure what level of noise is allowed where you are studying, look for our color coded green, yellow and red posters. If someone is disrupting your study, please let library staff know. Multiple offenses may result in referral to student affairs. Together, we can make the library a respectful and productive environment for everyone.

Be Inspired and Take a Break

The library has more than databases, books, and places to study. If you would like to read or leave words of encouragement, head over to our affirmation wall in the learning commons. Need a study break? Check out our creative corner, also located near the entrance to the Learning Commons, where you can grab a coloring sheet or try your hand at origami.

Check it Out

Chargers, Headphones, Textbooks and More!

If you need to check out a copy of your required textbook, a charger for your android, iPhone, Macbook, Surface Pro and many others, markers, headphones, earplugs or anatomical models, swing by the circulation desk and check them out for a couple of hours.
