American Psychological Association (APA) Citation Style Guide

APA was really meant for publication and not for student papers and presentations. One of the questions we often get is how do I cite an image in my PowerPoint Presentation?

There is no official way from APA on how to cite images within a PowerPoint, but there are two ways which many have accepted as best practice:

• Put an In-Text Citation below the image and then have a slide at the end of the presentation with a reference list. 

Or

• Put the full citation as a footnote at the bottom of the slide.
