AMA was really meant for publication and not for student papers and presentations. One of the questions we often get is how do I cite an image in my PowerPoint Presentation?
There is no official way from AMA on how to cite images within a PowerPoint, but there are two ways which many have accepted as best practice:
- Put the full citation as a footnote at the bottom of the slide.
- Put the citation as an in-text reference and then have a reference list on one or more slides at the end of the presentation.
